Description:
We are looking for two talented people to join our Database Services team. Our Database Programmers contribute to all phases of the development of solutions for our clients including: discovery, specification, implementation and support.

The successful candidate will be an experienced database programmer who can perform business relevant analysis in an applied environment and specifically contribute their expertise and knowledge towards the successful execution and deployment of email marketing programs. This is a fast-paced, development and production oriented environment where creative problem solving and troubleshooting skills lead to success.

Responsibilities:

- Importing client data files into Oracle (10g) databases.
- Processing large data files in a UNIX environment.
- Writing scripts, functions and stored procedures using SQL or Oracle PL/SQL.
- Performing quality assurance checks.
- Updating databases to ensure data integrity
- Provide support to both clients and internal teams.
- Author technical support documentation.
- Provide technical support and respond to error reports, problems or questions
- Focus on database efficiencies, and end-user satisfaction
- Participate in project kick-off and discovery efforts
- Performing quality assurance checks.
- Optimize data processing workflow through automation and finding more efficient processes
- Work collaboratively across with internal departments; Account Services, Engineering, Creative, Production and Sales Depts.

Required Qualifications:
Job Requirements:

- BS/BA in Computer Science or related discipline required
- Years of experience: Multiple positions are available from entry level to senior level (senior must have over 5 years experience)
- Solid Oracle Database and Oracle PL/SQL experience
- Solid PL/SQL or T-SQL skills required
- Experience with Unix/Linux shell scripting preferred but not essential
- Exposure to development concepts of data-driven web-based applications
- Excellent Oral and Written Skills
- Database Marketing experience a plus
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task
- Internet Application experience a plus
- Creative and who crave the opportunity to develop new solutions to new problems
- Well organized and able to manage multiple projects in a fast paced and demanding environment
